Aquafest turns 45! This milestone year promises to be our biggest and best yet, full of excitement, special performances, and a fun packed atmosphere that has made AquaFest a must-attend event.
We began in 1978 as a small riverside gathering, Ely Aquafest has grown into the region's premier water festival. What began with just a few boat races and a small crowd has evolved into a full day of aquatic competition, performances, food vendors, and community activities!
Located on the beautiful banks of the Great Ouse River, the festival celebrates our community's connection to water and brings together hundreds of visitors each year to enjoy the summer sunshine and riverside atmosphere.
Radio presenter, producer, and podcast host Sue—dubbed the “Goddess of the airwaves” expertly leads our event.
Lantern Dance Theatre School and its integrated dance group, are excited to return to Aquafest with a mix of new and classic performances from dancers aged 3 to 80. Click here to see their website.
We’re delighted to welcome Tia, a popular local singer, and pianist Kevin Dunham, whose soulful performances span pop and classic hits to create a memorable experience for all.
Back by popular demand, this talented local quartet will deliver a superb tribute to The Shadows, delighting all ages with timeless hits like “Apache,” “Wonderful Land,” and “Atlantis.”
CAMSAR, a volunteer-led Lowland Rescue team, will be offering a live water rescue demonstration and sharing information about their vital work. Click here to see their website.
Rising star, London-based singer-songwriter Jewelia brings her unique alternative pop style to the stage fresh off her sold-out "Little Wins" tour. Click here to see her website.
